SLOMO INTERFACE
Slomo Interface

What It Does
The SLOMO is a small 7cm x 4cm x 3cm black, self-standing device attached by a cable into the rear expansion slot of the ACORN ELECTRON. The connector type is a through connector allowing other expansion devices to be added on to the ACORN ELECTRON if necessary.

The SLOMO describes itself as a "Micro VDU Screen Controller" and its panel features two square buttons and a silver knob. These can be used in tandem to freeze any program running on the ACORN ELECTRON and to advance it 'frame-by-frame' at a speed set by the user. A small red LED light indicates when the SLOMO is active.

The SLOMO came supplied with a one page user guide.

The SLOMO was originally available by mail order only from Nidd Valley for £24.95. It was discontinued within about a year of its release and is exceedingly rare. A second hand SLOMO will usually sell on eBay from £30-£75.
