Personal Computer News was aimed at the owners of all 8-bit computers during the 'boom' period of home computing from 1983 to 1985. Handily this was the period of time when the Acorn Electron, the BBC and Acorn Computers in general were major players. A wealth of information, type-in games and program reviews are therefore contained within its pages, and the archive should be of much wider interest.
Copies of this magazine are incredibly hard to find but, after nearly ten years of searching, we have finally managed to collect the complete run of 168 issues which can be purchased on two companion DVDs.
Click on the front cover of an issue to move directly to the catalogue for that issue.
We are currently creating a mammoth resource of all of the Personal Computer News articles and reviews over at www.personalcomputernews.co.uk, and any purchasers of the DVDs help us to create another fully digital issue. Please check out our site and consider purchasing a set of the DVDs.
