The HeadFirst PD discs were put together by Gareth Boden and James Treadwell, and they consisted mainly of software they had written themselves. Unlike many of the other BBC series Public Domain libraries of the time, HeadFirst PD was aimed almost exclusively at the Acorn Electron rather than the BBC.

Time was when it seemed the HeadFirst PD had been lost forever but, thanks to the internet, Alan Richardson and Gareth Boden, the catalogue has been resurrected in its entirety.

HeadFirst PD also carried several BBC PD and SP64 discs in its original catalogues. These have not been included below as the discs are identical. So, although it does appear that some discs are missing from the archive, you can download these from the appropriate catalogues elsewhere on this site.
