Computers can be used creatively with children to teach many skills, such as reading, comprehension and logic.

Children are fascinated by computers and this satisfaction can be used as a basis for a fruitful learning and sharing experience between children and adults.

This book is intended as a guide for parents and teachers, giving ideas on how basic communication skills can easily be expanded with the use of computer adventure programs.

Four specific computer adventure programs are described in detail, with actual examples from primary school children's responses to these sessions. The programs are:

About the Author: Rosetta McLeod B.Ed. graduated from Edinburgh University and Moray House College of Education.
